Shop vintage mushroom illustration clothing and decor
This collection adapts vintage botanical mushroom illustrations to clothing and round mats. The current designs use multi-species compositions with numbered fungi, varied cap shapes and natural-history plate styling.
Mushroom shirts and sweaters
The collection includes Hawaiian shirts, T-shirts and sweaters with different arrangements of the mushroom artwork. Some products show a broad plate composition, while others enlarge individual sections across the front, back and sleeves. Browse wider clothing categories through Men's Art Clothing and Women's Art Clothing.
Mushroom hoodies and jackets
Hoodies and a jacket use all-over botanical designs across separate garment panels. Zippers, pockets, seams and sleeves may divide or reposition parts of the original illustration. Explore more related formats in Art Hoodies & Sweatshirts.
Mushroom skirts, shorts and cycling clothing
The clothing range also includes a chiffon skirt, beach shorts, cotton shorts and a women's cycling jersey. Each shape creates a different crop, so check the front, back and side views before selecting a size or design.
Round mushroom mats
The round mats adapt rectangular botanical artwork to a circular format. This can remove outer details or reposition individual specimens around the center. Check the listed diameter and product gallery before ordering. Browse additional floor products in Art Rugs & Floor Mats.
About the vintage Larousse mushroom illustrations
The source imagery is associated with mushroom color plates published in the 1932 edition of Larousse du XXe siècle, a French illustrated reference work. The plates arrange numerous fungi in numbered natural-history compositions and show specimens from different angles and stages of growth.
The collection uses these images for their vintage botanical appearance. It does not reproduce the surrounding encyclopedia entries, modern taxonomic research or a complete field guide.
Botanical mushroom art, not an identification guide
These products are decorative. Do not use the illustrations, product names, numbers, colors or artwork details to identify wild mushrooms or determine whether a specimen is edible, toxic or safe to handle.
Mushroom appearance varies by age, location, weather and other conditions, while scientific names and classifications can change. For identification or foraging decisions, use current regional resources and qualified local expertise.
How the illustration changes between products
The source artwork contains many small specimens in one composition. A shirt or sweater can display a broad section, while a sleeve, skirt panel, shorts leg or round mat may show only selected fungi. Garment construction can also interrupt numbers, labels and botanical details.
Use the complete product gallery rather than the first thumbnail to judge the final placement. Small printed labels or specimen numbers may not remain equally legible at every product size.
How to choose a mushroom art product
- Choose a shirt or sweater when you want a broad wearable botanical composition.
- Choose a hoodie or jacket after checking placement across sleeves, pockets and fastenings.
- Choose a skirt, shorts or cycling jersey only after reviewing front, back and side views.
- Choose a round mat after confirming its diameter and circular artwork crop.
- Check the individual product page for materials, sizing, care and current availability.
Before ordering
